My startup project

Plantbook.io I believe that many people would love to have plants but they don’t go for it because it is time consuming and sometimes stressful activity especially using trial and error approach. Moreover, these days we already have enough things to think about and for example keeping watering schedule feels too much.  The result, people avoid to have beautiful peace of nature at home. Or plants suffer without proper care cause stress. In addition to this, I also believe that plants and agriculture as a whole is a crutial area for entire planet especially considering food and water shortage in some areas. In the coming future the problems will be getting bigger and bigger unless we start solving them. In future, we will also need technologies to grow edible plants for space exploration. Hence, I firmly believe that modern technologies can make the process of growing plants not only easier but more efficient from resources prospective. I’d love to talk whether y...

My circuits practice

At last... I finished my first ever my mini featured film :) It is dedicated to my flying lessons at Central Coast Aero Club and in particular to circuits practice prior first solo flight. It took me almost a year to put all bit and pieces together so I hope you will enjoy it! I will appreciate any feedback and comments.

Sleep

Do you sleep efficiently? Do you have sleeping issues? I'm pretty sure that majority of us are ambitious and really into maximizing our cognitive and physical performance to learn and achieve more. There are different ways to do it such as regular exercises, healthy food, nutrients, etc. There is not doubt that they all work well but what we sometimes miss is healthy and efficient Sleep! I have been struggling with sleep for quite a while until... I read book - "Sleep" by Nic k Littlehales. You are not going to believe but this book helped me to solve all my sleeping problems. Now I sleep all night long with no waking up and feel refreshed every morning. Using technics from this book I optimized my sleep-related routines and now I also can control amount of sleep during a week without affecting my performance. For example, if I have night out with friends or need to push longer hours at work. The core of the book is R90 (Recovery 90) program wh...

Practicing forced landing for my pilot licence

This video is inspired by Russian pilot Damir Yusupov who landed Airbus with 226 passengers on board with no engines on 16 August 2019. There were no fatalities. Coincidentally on 14 August, I was practicing engine failure for my pilot license at Warnervale Airport. Some people think that with no engines an airplane falls from the sky like a rock... but it is not true :) In my video you can see what actually happens when engine stops and what pilot needs to do in order to safely land an airplane.

Redesigning lifestyle

Life transformation is in progress... Just finished amazing book - "4-hours work week" by Tim Ferris .  The book was recommended to me by David Beer . David is life coach and as well as myself fellow of Harbour View Toastmaster Club .  My opinion is that book includes absolutely valuable solutions and approaches from entrepreneurship and lifestyle rethinking prospective. I found many answers on questions which I have been looking for ages. I'd recommend this book to anyone who wish to make his/her life extraordinary and/or take a look at it under different angle. Also, I think that people who have established business or think about setting up one would find it interesting. By the way, the book ranked as one of most quoted books on Amazon. Just in time, Tim has just podcast The 4-Hour Workweek Revisited dedicated to 10th anniversary of the book. He discuss common questions and misperceptions, and how he would adjust certain chapters and recommendations. I took...

Getting Pilots Licence

Yesterday, I started taking flying lessons for my Recreational Pilot Licence (RPL) with  Central Cost Aero Club at Warnervale airport, NSW. To be more precise, it was actually second lesson, I took first one 2 years ago with the same fly school. My very first trial flight (not lesson) was at Camden Airport from  adrenaline.com.au but it was pretty good but too far from my place. Decided to go with Warnervale rather than with one of Bankstown's schools because I like country side and prefer driving to airport on freeway rather than through road traffic of Sydney's suburbs. Another advantage which CCAC instructor mentioned is that at Warnervale you start doing your air exercises straight after take off however at Bankstown plane needs to go to training area first which take time. Did not check out if it is the case yet but sounds like valid point. I'm planning to get my licence within about 1 year. Let see how it goes.... I will keep you posted.

Learning Robot Operation System

Because I've got interested in Robots programming, I decided that I need to start from some kind of foundation in order not to create things from scratch. I found amazing platform for robots development - ROS . I have already learnt about ROS architecture and played around ARDrone packages for ROS. Now I'm learning about development in ROS. Fortunately, it has very good structured and detailed documentation with examples, what makes the process easy and enjoyable.
